Now,
having friends and being popular can be a healthy enjoyment during the hard
teenage years; it's always nice to have someone to turn to when in need. But,
sometimes, we become so obsessed with being prom queen/king or dating Mr.
Athlete of the year or Ms. Barbie doll, that we forget our conscience and
morals. Oftentimes, we will be persuaded so heavily by peer pressure that
we will lose our senses and do things we regret.
If
you want to attain ultimate "coolness," you don't have to follow
the crowd. Sometimes, it is the one that shovels his/her own path that is
the happiest. But, most teenagers love being "popular," even though
we have yet to understand the definition. If you do comprehend this burning
desire of adolescence, please let us know!
