Although Julia has a great regard for musicians who play their own music, she does not disrespect pop singers who typically sing music that is written for them. "I almost feel like I'm communicating more with those who listen to my music," she stated. "Pop singers have to convey what the song means to them in another way -- for example through dance entertainment which I don't have to do because I write my own songs."

As a student in high school, Julia's lifestyle is cramped. Her schedule consists of school, guitar lessons, singing lessons and rehearsals for her high school musical, West Side Story. Driven to succeed at everything she does, she adds, "Singing and playing the guitar is an incredible release for me. It makes the problems of the world disappear. For example, if I am writing a long essay, and I need to take a break, I know, all I need to do is play a couple of songs, and then I'm set for another paragraph or so. While songs help her to reconnect with her school work, she will always be connected to her music. With songs from her heart, there's apt to be fame in her future.
