Jordan Sanders joined TeenSpeak because
he wanted to "get the word out" to teens all over. He wants
to be a part of an organ-ization that informs future world leaders about
the various roles they can fill. He wants to be able to say, "I was
a part of that," meaning, being a part of helping to inform teens
about what is going on in the world. Jordan enjoys photography and design
work the most. He is appreciated for his enthusiasm and his efforts to
promote greater visibility for TeenSpeak.
Ryan Sherwin decided to join TeenSpeak
because he likes the idea of meeting people he looks up to and he also
thought it would be a good way to improve his writing. He has written
mostly about sports, yet, he is happy to write about just about anything
that interests him. Ryan wants to make a difference in the lives of teens.
Rachel Stockman has always been interested
in writing and in journalism. She thought that by getting her word out
and having some influence over shaping the ideas of her peers would help
to bring awareness to the issues she finds important. She is especially
interested in political issues which, she feels, might not be too interesting
to teens. She feels its important for teens to take an interest
in politics because change is needed and youth need to get involved.
James Yin joined TeenSpeak be-cause
he wanted to improve his writing skills. The first article he wrote for
TeenSpeak was based on an interview he conducted at The White House
with John Koskinen, the Chairman of Y2K Conversion in his White House
office! James also enjoys writing about science and technology. The thing
James likes most about being a repor-ter for TeenSpeak is that
he thinks of it as writing to his peers, and he appreciates the chance
to be able to do so.
