It is through the generous donations of corporations, individuals and other institutions that enables Voices editors to help young people around the world develop skills in journalism and communications – skills that will help them throughout their lives no matter what new media is introduced. Donations of any amount also go towards scholarships for higher education to those reporters whose outstanding work is exemplified in the strength of their editorials and articles.
Voices is published by the Institute for Young Jounalists, which is a 501 c (3) non profit organization that is registered with the Internal Revenue Service. All donations to Institute for Young Journalists are tax deductible and every contribution furthers our goals of exchanging misunderstanding and misconceptions where they exist for understanding and respect.
Even a small donation helps. In fact, if all of the people who read and support the importance of Voices were to send $1.00 we would be able to further our goals by helping those who want to continue their education in journalism or a related communications field.
